ضَــرَبَ يَضْــرِبُ اِضــرِبْ

ضَرَبَ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ The man hit the man

نَــزَلَ يَـنْــزِلُ اِنْــزِلْ

نَزَلَ الرَّجُلُ مِنَ السُلّمِ The man went down the stairs

كَــسَــرَ يَكْــسِــرُ اِكْــسِــرْ

كَسَرَ الـهاتِفَ بِالـمِطْرَقَةِ He broke the phone with a hammer

غَــسَــلَ يَـغْــسِــلُ اِغْــسِــلْ

غَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ بِالـمَاءِ والصَّابُونِ He washed his hands with soap and water

رَجَــعَ يَـرْجِــعُ اِرْجِــعْ

رَجَعَ الولدُ من الـمَدْرَسةِ The boy returned from school

سَــبَــقَ يَـسْــبِــقُ اِسْــبِــقْ

يَـسْبِقُ الـحِصَانُ الأَحْصِنَةَ الأُخْرَى

  • Literal: "The horse precedes the other horses"More natural: "The horse is ahead of the other horses"

حَــمَــلَ يَـحْــمِــلُ اِحْــمِــلْ

حَمَلَ الرَّجُلُ الصُّنْدُوقَ The man carried the box

جَــلَــسَ يَجْــلِــسُ اِجْــلِــسْ

جَلَسَ الوَلَدُ على الكُرْسِيِّ The boy sat on the chair

سَــرَقَ يَـسْــرِقُ اِسْــرِقْ

سَرَقَ السَارِقُ مِـحْفَظَةَ الرَّجُلِ The thief stole the man's wallet
