In the section on verbs we will look at the different verb patterns of past (الفعل الماضي) and present tense (الفعل المضارع) and direct object (المفعول به)
A verbal sentence (الجملة الفعلية) can be used to narrate events tied to time. Structure of a verbal sentence. Doer (الفاعل), Action (الفعل), Direct object (المفعول به)
A doubled verb (الفعل المضعف) is a verb where the final two letters are identical and written together. But, these letters can be separated in different grammatical forms
In a simple sentence there's a subject that performing an action that can be directed at something or someone. That which receives the action is المَفْعُولُ بِه
A present tense (الفِعْلُ المُضَارِع) verb is a verb that indicates an action happening at the current moment in time. For example أشْــرَبُ الـمَاءَ
The subject "leaves" is plural, but the verbs are in the singular feminine form. الأوراق سقطَتْ من الشجرة, because plural inanimate nouns are treated as singular feminine
The imperative verb (الأَمْر) in Arabic is the verb form used to give commands, express requests, or issue instructions. It's like saying "Write!" (اكتب) or "Sit!" (اجلس)
There is a certain relationship between the past tense verb and the vowel pointing of the present tense. There are six such relationships which will be useful to know
